This category of audience refers to an age limit of 12 years of age, in which means any under this age will not be appropriate or suitable to watch the selected film. BBFC considers that any content of this category can be presented to an audience of the age of 12. The statement that 12/12A gives is that the audience can be allowed to see the film unaccompanied by an older audience or parent/guardian. A child or younger than 12 years of age is only allowed if the parent/guardian considers the film suitable towards the child. The content of 12/12A can have a content of strong language (f***) but is only appropriate if the words are infrequently used. Any racist terms or discrimination used within the film will not be appropriate for such target audience.
